Commonly Asked Questions

With so many options, what’s right for my case?

Experienced consultants like The Caissa Group have a lot of tools in our toolbox to help clients navigate their cases through the litigation timeline, but just because a lot of tools are available does not mean every tool is necessary. While some cases benefit from a large program of services, most cases derive the greatest benefit from a subset of targeted services. The Caissa Group works with clients to identify which services will most effectively and efficiently address the specific issues and needs of each case. We want our clients get the biggest “bang for their buck” and will work with you to make sure that happens.

When is the right time to hire The Caissa Group?

We get asked this question a lot and the answer is, anytime you ask yourself, “I wonder what a jury/judge/arbitrator will think of….”. Litigators have to make hundreds of assessments throughout a case. For example:

  • Which venue to file in (if there are options)

  • Beginning to build a compelling narrative in the complaint

  • Which witnesses to depose or identify for depositions

  • How to focus energies and resources in discovery

  • Identifying holes in expert analyses

  • Developing the strongest themes and storyline for briefs, hearings, and trial

  • Witness order

  • Crafting the most compelling opening statement

The Caissa Group can help counsel make these tough decisions, and more, based on research and extensive experience.

Is my case too small to hire The Caissa Group?

No case is “too small,” but any one case’s scope, budget and risk will guide what is appropriate. Some cases warrant jury or bench trial research, some benefit greatly from assistance with preparing a key witness or two, conducting social media research on jurors, or a few hours of theme development. The Caissa Group promises to give all potential clients recommendations for what is the best for any particular case, not what is the most for any particular case.
